How to Register for a Sunday ACT

The ACT has historically offered a non-Saturday test administration option for students with religious exemptions from Saturday exams. Starting in fall 2020, however, ACT has opened up Sunday test sites for all students.

To sign up for a Sunday exam, log into your MyACT account. Click “Register for the ACT” to start the registration process. When you scroll down to the test dates and test center options in the pop-up window, you will see the available test sites outlined in blue and unavailable test sites outlined in gray. Select your preferred Sunday exam date and test site by clicking on the block for that date and site, as shown below.

Once you have a selected test site, add it to your cart and proceed to enter the rest of your information on the online registration form. ACT does not require you to provide proof of religious exemption from Saturday exams if there is a non-Saturday test site open for registration.

If there are no Sunday test sites available on the first screen, click the “Show farther sites” link to check if there are any Sunday test sites within 75 miles of your address. If there are no Sunday test sites administering the ACT within 75 miles of your address, you may request a non-Saturday Arranged Testing date by emailing arranged@act.org and requesting the Arranged Testing form. While any student can currently sign up for available Sunday test sites, Arranged Testing is only provided for students with specific Saturday exam exemptions.
