We’re excited to announce our reopening!
We are excited to announce the option to return to in-person sessions! Most of our tutors are now available on select days to meet in-person outside our office with updated safety procedures. We will continue to offer both outdoor sessions at our new location and Zoom sessions to all incoming and current students. Zoom tutoring sessions will continue to be the default unless in-person is requested.
To comply with CDC and local requirements, the following steps have been taken to ensure your safety.
Sessions will occur either outside at our picnic tables or inside in one of our meeting rooms, whichever is preferred.
You will text check-in from your car to your tutor and they will confirm the area is sanitized in a text back to you before your session starts.
Disinfection of all tables and chairs between sessions will occur.
Masks will be required at all times for both tutor and student. We will have back-up masks if you forget yours.
Tutors and students will maintain a minimum 6ft distance at all times.
Hand sanitizer will also be provided, both at our tables and within the building.
Our sick cancel policy is still in effect, and we ask that you please not meet if there is any possibility of infection. If you would still like to have your session, please move your session back to online by notifying your tutor.
Only one session may occur at one time, so please be mindful of rescheduling as little as possible for non-sick-related reasons.
If your tutor is exposed to COVID-19, we will move all sessions back to online for the following 2 weeks. If you would like to schedule a substitute tutor in that time frame to continue in person, please contact us at the office so we may help set it up for you.
Bathrooms inside the building will remain open and available for student use.
Anyone experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms (e.g. fever, coughing, fatigue) within 3 days of the scheduled in-person session will be required to meet online-only. If a student starts experiencing any of these symptoms on the day of their session, they are expected to alert their tutor immediately and plans will be made to move the session to Zoom.
Once an in-person session is scheduled, students will be asked to confirm that they agree to follow all requirements listed here by midnight the day prior to the scheduled session.
The health and safety of both our tutors and our students is of utmost priority, and we thank you in advance for your compliance with our new regulations.
